No, Google killed Usenet by leaving their unmaintained Usenet gateway
open for abuse by China's gangs. Not enough ISPs had the balls to block
their traffic. I laughed when Google later claimed that the Chinese had
hacked their corporate systems. Suddenly all of the problems that they
willfully ignored became a bit more serious.
