Hi. I'm looking for a cheap camcorder. I have two qualifications:

1. For storage, it needs to use flash memory cards or built-in flash
memory.

2. It must save its video as either mov or avi files. The Flip cameras
output their video as mpeg4 files which is why I'm not considering them.

Any ideas?

I'm assuming then that you are satisfied with standard definition video(?).
If so, there aren't many SD camcorders available that are cheap that
use memory cards and most of these do not record AVI files, although
there are a couple of VERY limited capability Colby models that satisfy
your stated requirements, at --
